The site carries brands such as John Robshaw and bills itself as a place where you can “embellish your everyday.”
Flos Brings Two Design Curators on Board
Mere months after Flos announced the appointment of Roberta Silva as CEO, the Italian lighting company is out with more corporate news. Milanese architects Fabio Calvi and Paolo Brambilla, who run the firm Calvi Brambilla, will be the brand’s new design curators. The duo, the first external designers to join the company in a curation capacity, will focus on strengthening and streamlining the product development process.
Room & Board Goes All-In on Contract
The Minneapolis-based retailer is officially on the contract furnishings bandwagon. Room & Board Business Interiors is a new division of the brand offering contract-grade furnishings and other products for hospitality and workplace projects. Though the launch was just announced, the group has already helped furnish spaces for Google, Twitter, W Hotels, and United Airlines.

Winterthur Garden—and More Such Green Spaces—Get an Official Stamp of Approval
For those in the design community, the Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library is a decorative arts educational institution. And now, the historic nonprofit is getting recognition in a major way, thanks to the U.S. Postal Service. Winterthur is one of 10 classic American gardens being honored in a series of special-edition stamps. The other gardens included are the Biltmore Estate Gardens, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Chicago Botanic Garden, Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, Dumbarton Oaks Garden, The Huntington Botanical Gardens, Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park, Norfolk Botanical Garden, and Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens.
