The blitz of showroom openings this year has us spoilt for choice—vote for the showroom with the most inspiring interior design here
Now into its fourth edition, the Tatler Design Awards will include for the first time, a new Readers’ Choice segment, which includes the accolades for the Best Living Room, Best Bespoke Concept and the Best Luxury Concept.
We will also introduce a new award category entitled the Best Showroom, inspired by the successful blitz of luxury boutiques and flagships that have opened this year. These venues convey the unique philosophy of each brand while providing elegant vignettes that showcase their collections in residential-inspired settings.
The winners of the Tatler Design Awards 2020 will be announced in the February 2020 issue of Singapore Tatler Homes; online voting for the Best Showroom will close on 20 December. Scroll through the nominated entries here and vote for your favourite project in the form below:

Opened in November 2019 at Mohamed Sultan Road, the Singapore flagship of Italian ceramic surface purveyor Florim is designed by its in-house team. Occupying the first floor of a glass-front building, the flagship showcases its myriad collections within luxurious settings inspired by hotel suites and residences. Noteworthy spaces include a decorative stairway dubbed the ‘Cedit Corner’, which displays alcoves clad in collections by Cedit, one of Florim’s key brands.

Opened in May 2019 and located in Tan Boon Liat Building, the showroom designed by Jaime Hayon showcases the brand’s latest collections within unique alcoves; a surprising find within a building zoned under light industrial usage. Each section is distinguished by its colour palette and is well-furnished with decorative elements as well the key products by the brand, providing an imaginative variety of ways to display its products.
Opened in August and sited in the newly renovated Funan Mall, the showroom designed by homegrown design firm Fuur showcases the local retailer’s array of European brands within a cohesive array of settings. Co-foundeded by Jefery Kurniadidjaja and Singapore industrial designer Nathan Yong, the showroom is the local furniture purveyor’s biggest to date; it also houses a cafe-restaurant next to its entrance.

Earlier this year, Italian furniture maker relocated from its former Hill Street premises to its current location on the second floor of Raffles Hotel Arcade. Designed by its in-house team, in collaboration with creative director Rodolfo Dordoni, the showroom comprises two sections: the street-facing ‘glass house’, a pavilion-like space with full-length glass windows and the heritage section located within the original architecture of the building.

The Italian furniture and kitchen manufacturer moved to Winslandt House in August, showcasing its furniture and kitchen collections within settings inspired by luxury residences in collaboration with homegrown retailer P5. A studied mix of furnishings and decorative elements, combined with the clever use of lighting systems (such as the innovative CoeLux skylight that recreates the sensation of daylight) creates intimate and cosy alcoves throughout the showroom.
Led by design director Siti Radiyah and the in-house styling team, this showroom displays a curated mix of Italian furniture brands including new-to-Singapore names such as Black Tie, Cipriani Homood and Tonon. Various collections have been tastefully combined to showcase inspiring vignettes throughout the showroom.
